As many of you know by now, I love facial cleansers. All kinds of them, apart from the foaming ones as they really dry my skin out. I love creams, balms, oils, you name it. There are so many options to choose from nowadays that it’s hard to pick just one. That’s why I usually have two, one for the morning and one for the evening. Having combination skin also means that I need to wash my face twice a day or else I end up with ultra shiny forehead and nose and dried out cheeks. Lovely.
Now, I’m still fond of my old favourites, like Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel, but today I want to talk about my new found love, which is Triology Age Proof Active Enzyme Cleansing Cream. I purchased it around a month ago after I ran out of all of my other cleansers and it was definitely love at first use. It’s a really velvety cream cleanser with a delicate fragrance. It contains fruit enzymes, from papaya and pineapple, that gently exfoliate the skin, jojoba esters and vitamin E that nourish and protect it from free radical damage. The gentle exfoliation makes my skin feel really smooth and refined, and prepared for serum and moisturiser.
I don’t usually believe in all the anti-ageing claims but I do love this cleanser for how it makes my skin feel and look. It’s also nice to know that it has ingredients which can protect my skin from premature aging. I use it on a regular basis, every evening and it’s perfect for removing remains of make-up and any product build-up. I used to have dry some dry patches on my cheeks but thanks to this cleanser they are all gone. It’s definitely a new favourite.
I’m also eyeing other products from the Trilogy Age Proof line, which were actually recently revamped and reformulated to give better results.
