PureChimp Super Cleanser.

When it comes to buying new products recently, I have to admit that I’ve been really frugal. I just decided that I need to use up most of the things that I already had instead of constantly purchasing new products. I was also alarmed, when my basket with products I use on a regular basis started to look very cramped.
My basket is currently looking pretty good, unlike my bathroom cabinet. I have way too many facial cleansers and yet I still couldn’t resist buying another one. I think I might have a problem.

While browsing Love Lula website recently I stumbled across PureChimp brand in their Boutique section and although this brand caught my eye a while ago already, I’ve never had a chance to actually look into their products.
PureChimp is a British brand created in 2013 and based in Cambridgeshire which most popular product seems to be their Matcha Green Tea, however they also have a small selection of natural skincare products. All of their products are vegan and handmade, and all of them contain banana extract which makes them smell like bananas. Yum!
Even though I wanted to basically try all of their products at once when I heard about them smelling like bananas, I went for their Super Cleanser which is like nothing I’ve tried before. Its ingredients’ list is quite short but with some really great stuff, like Almonds, Olive Oil, Clay, Marigold Petals, and Sea Buckthorn Oil. Also, it smells like banana bread. I mean, what’s not to love about it. I want to eat it every time I open the jar. When it comes to its consistency and texture it’s sort of like a balm cleanser but with little grains in it. You basically break a little piece of it, put it on your hand, add few drops of water (not to much), and mix it until it becomes a very thick milk/cream, then massage into skin and rinse with cold or lukewarm water. You end with a very soft and radiant skin. It’s brilliant because it doesn’t dry my skin out and also doesn’t leave any greasy residue. I find that with makeup I do need to use another cleanser afterwards to really get rid of all the foundation on my face. But overall I absolutely love it!
Also, as a side note, Almond Flour works like a natural and gentle exfoliator and in combination with other ingredients, you get a very gentle exfoliating and moisturising cleanser suitable for all skin types, including sensitive one.

I guess my other cleansers will have to wait until I finish this one as I really can’t imagine using any other cleanser right now.

Have you tried anything from PureChimp?
