Today, I want to share with you my favourite hair care products of all time, products I always go back to and never let me down.
I am a little bit obsessed with John Masters Organics hair products to be honest. They aren’t the cheapest but well worth it and your hair will thank you for it. My #1 product of all time is his Citrus & Neroli Detangler. It has a nice lemony scent and a very light texture, which doesn’t weigh your hair down, and if you have really dry, porous hair, you can use it as a leave-in conditioner. It is also available in an unscented version. It is, hands down, the best hair product and conditioner I’ve ever used. I’ve started using it back in 2009 when I decided to switch to natural and organic products. This was my first hair product I got and I was sold after the first use. I’ve tried so many conditioners, but nothing left my hair so soft and shiny, especially only after one use. I will not even get into explaining on how bad the non-natural conditioners are because it could be a whole separate post, but let me tell you that after trying this detangler I have never looked back.
Next on my list is John Masters Organics Zinc and Sage Shampoo With Conditioner which is a shampoo and a conditioner in one, although I like to use my beloved detangler regardless. I reckon if your hair has a tendency to get oily quick, you can skip the conditioner. It has the most wonderful vanilla scent which makes you want to eat it, and creamy, but at the same time light, texture. It leaves your hair clean but not dried out. My mum suffers from psoriasis and this shampoo helped her a lot.
Another beloved hair care product of mine is Aubrey Organics Rosa Mosqueta Nourishing Shampoo. It has a beautiful rose scent and the best thing about it is that it actually stays on your hair for days and you end up constantly sniffing your hair (at least this is what I do). It leaves your hair squeaky clean so I advise you to always use a conditioner after washing your hair with it, as it can leave your hair tangled. I use it once a week, as a Sunday shampoo.
Next, surprise, surprise, is another product by John Masters Organics, which is Honey & Hibiscus Reconstructor. It’s a miraculous treatment I use once a week, mixed with my favourite conditioner mentioned above. I leave it on my hair for 20 minutes and my hair is silky soft and nourished. Highly recommended!
Last, but not least is John Masters Evening Primrose Shampoo, which works wonders when my hair is dry and dull, and if I need some extra pampering. It has a gel-like texture due to aloe vera leaf juice being one of its main ingredients, which also means that it leaves your hair both soft and easy to comb through. It has an amazing, calming scent and it’s great for colour-treated hair too.
If you have any other recommendations for me, let me know, I would love to try some other great hair care products.
