The thing I like the most about organic beauty industry is that there is always a possibility of finding new and exciting brands almost on a daily basis. One of such brands for me is Eminence Organic Skincare. It actually isn’t a new brand as it was established in 1958 in Hungary, but it is a new discovery for me.
I first heard about it almost a year ago actually but in the midst of all the other things and brands, I just completely forgot about it, until recently when I finally decided to give it a go.
They offer a huge selection of skincare products for all skin types and concerns. Because of their vast selection of products it’s difficult to choose just one so I decided to choose one full size product, their famous Strawberry Rhubarb Hyaluronic Serum and Clear Skin Starter Set.
Strawberry Rhubarb Hyaluronic Serum is a gel-like serum that smells like strawberries. I just want to eat it whenever I apply it. It’s made with incredible ingredients, like Strawberries (hence that amazing smell), which contain natural salicylic acid that gently exfoliates and minimizes the appearance of pores, Rhubarb which is a source of Vitamin C and many other vitamins to brighten your skin, and obviously Hyaluronic Acid, which not only hydrates your skin but also helps with fine wrinkles.
This serum is like a less expensive version of the BRAD serum I reviewed here. I really like that it’s made with Aloe Vera which makes it less runny than the BRAD serum. I’ve been using it for quite a while now and I have to say that I am really impressed with it. It definitely makes my skin appear less dry and more plump. I use it on freshly washed face before applying facial oil.
When it comes to their Clear Skin Starter Set I got, it consists of a monthly supply of Probiotic Cleanser, Probiotic Moisturiser, Probiotic Masque, and Willow Bark Booster Serum.
The whole Probiotic range is designed for problematic/oily/combination skin and is made with ingredients like Cucumber Juice (tones the skin), Yoghurt (exfoliates), Willow Bark (exfoliates, source of natural salicylic acid), and Tea Tree Oil (antiseptic properties). I particularly like the cleanser, serum, and mask from this range. I find that the moisturiser is just not light and not moisturising enough for my combo/dry skin.
All the other three products really helped with my recent outbreak of blemishes, which was just being really frustrating. These three were life saviours for my skin at that time. Within a week, my skin was looking significantly better, with no new breakouts.
The cleanser is a very light cream that leaves your skin clean but not dried out. The serum has the same consistency as the Strawberry Rhubarb Hyaluronic one and I like to apply it at night and sometimes additionally throughout the day on affected areas. I also love the mattifying effect that the mask gives. No more disco-ball looking forehead for me!
Overall, I am very impressed with this brand and their products and I am definitely looking forward to trying more from them in the near future.
