In the world of organic, natural shampoos there are hits and misses. As some of you may already know I love testing new hair products just as much as new facial cleansers. My two big obsessions I would say. So when I read about Living Libations Shampoo and Conditioner
on Sonja’s blog it was really hard to resist the temptation of purchasing this lovely duo myself. After a week or so I gave up and placed an order. I got it back in February so I had enough time to give it a proper test.
Let me just tell you, if you think you’ve tried it all, then think again! It’s like nothing I’ve ever used. Everytime I use it, it feels like some out of this world experience. My hair feels so soft afterwards, almost like baby hair and it’s super duper shiny! The question I always ask myself is, “Do they add angel tears to it?” because that’s how unbelievable it feels. After each use people always tell me how great my hair looks.
But why is it THAT amazing? It contains Seabuckthorn Berry Oil, Rosemary, Grapefruit, Peppermint, Vetiver, Lime, Golden Jojoba Oil, Calendula, Red Clover, Oatstraw, Chamomile, Nettles, and more. You can read all in-depth description of each ingredient on their website. Also, it takes over a month (!!!) to make a batch of this shampoo so I think it says a lot why is it so exceptional.
Oh, I forgot to mention that after using it my hair stays fresh for almost full 4 days! 4 DAYS! Unbelievable! The only reason I don’t use it too often is its price (and shipping cost). But I just know it’s worth every penny. Liquid gold, that’s what it is.
The Shine On Conditioner itself is very lightweight but at the same time very conditioning. It seems to be complementing the shampoo. Never weighs my hair down. Contains some great ingredients too, like Jojoba Oil, Marshmallow, Slippery Elm, Seaweed, Alfalfa, Tamanu Oil, Apple Cider Vinegar, and more.
Definitely will be stocking up on the shampoo at least once I run out of it.
Have you ever tried this duo?
