Oh my.. It’s that time again.. February favourites. It feels as if February just flew by. Probably because it’s such a short month. Can’t say I’m not happy though as it means that spring is just around the corner!
Days are already longer which is brilliant. Here are the products that I loved throughout the month of February:
1. Balm Balm Relaxing Organic Bath & Body Oil (£13) – recently I’ve been really lazy when it comes to slathering on body lotions, massaging them in, waiting for them to absorb and all that jazz. This little beauty from Balm Balm saved my life. It’s super moisturising as it’s a blend of different oils (calendula, sunflower, evening primrose, rosehip, and jojoba along with essential oils like rose geranium and ylang ylang) and smells so nice and relaxing, perfect before going to bed and for unwinding. It’s also very easy to apply thanks to its spray pump so it takes me minutes to spray it all over my body and then just massage it in quickly. It leaves my skin super soft and silky. I can’t tell you how much it simplified my night time routine. Thank you, Balm Balm!
2. BetterYou Magnesium Oil GoodNight Spray (£12.65) – this one doesn’t have much to do with the beauty world, but they say that sleep is the only cosmetic you need, so I guess we can count this one as a beauty product/supplement. If you struggle to get a good night’s sleep or you’re under a lot of stress, then magnesium is this one supplement you really need. This spray offers the benefits of magnesium but in a form of a spray with pure mineral from European sea with an addition of relaxing essential oils. You just spray it few times on your body after showering and massage it in and after, I would say, less than half an hour you feel relaxed and sleepy. I’m not even kidding! It works like a charm every time I use it and February was a month when I reached for it very often. It’s such a great little thing to have.
3. MyChelle Serious Hyaluronic Firming Serum (£29) – I discovered MyChelle a year ago during one of my visits in the States. They have few lines with products specifically made for certain skin types. Their line for acne is fantastic! My boyfriend uses this line and we both can see the difference ever since he’s started using it. You may want to be cautious with some of their products as some don’t contain all clean ingredients, however, this particular serum doesn’t have anything in it to be worried about. This particular serum is for all skin types and it’s supposed to firm your skin and make it look youthful. It contains Hyaluronic Acid which is actually one of my favourite ingredients as it locks in all the moisture, especially after applying face oil or cream. All I can say about this serum is WOW! After applying it on my bloated, PMS face, my skin definitely looked tighter and ultra glowing. I felt like a human being again. I tend to only use it on days when I need it (during my PMS days) and I always get so many compliments.
4. Pai Echium & Macadamia Repleneshing Day Cream (£38) – it’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of Pai products. This cream is no exception. I’ve been using it for 4 years now and recently it got slightly reformulated to be even more moisturising. There are two ingredients added. One of them is Echium, which is great for sensitive skin showing signs of ageing, and the other one is Black Elder (a form of Elderflower) which increases the skin’s own Hyaluronic Acid production by up to 25%! This improved formula is great for those with very dry skin, but I myself having combination skin find that it’s great for any skin type. It never leaves my skin oily or causes any breakouts. Instead it leaves my skin ultra soft and radiant. Pai never ceases to amaze me!
Waiting for you spring!
