Daily Natural Make-Up Routine

Nowadays, I like to keep my make-up routine pretty simple as I just can’t be bothered with eyeshadows, eyeliners, highlighters, contouring, etc. on a day to day basis. My routine is simple and quick and requires no special skills, but at the same time gives this perfect effortless look we all want.

On a daily basis I don’t like to use any heavy, full-coverage foundation whether it’s a natural one or not (unless I have a lot of breakouts or redness on my skin). What I love to use though is reviewed earlier (here) RMS Beauty ‘Un’ Cover-Up in 11 which is basically like a tinted moisturiser but so much more beneficial for your skin and with a bit more coverage. The coverage is buildable so you can achieve medium to full coverage with it. I use my fingers to apply it and massage it in. Next, I cover my terrible dark under-eye circles with bareMinerals Multi-Tasking Concealer in Bisque as it’s pink, so perfect for counteracting blue coloured under-eye circles using Sigma P84 Precision Angled Brush. After that I like to put a bit of bareMinerals Well-Rested Eye Brightener on top of Bisque because it’s yellow, therefore brightening the under-eye area. These two are truly magical, they basically erase my dreary under-eye circles!
After creating the perfect canvas, I move on to dabbing some RMS Beauty Lip2Cheek in Smile on the top of my cheekbones and lips, and blending it in with my fingers. Then, I reach for my favourite mineral powder of the moment, which is the Laura Mercier Mineral Loose Powder, and dust it lightly with Make Up For Ever 55N Brush on my T-zone as it tends to get a bit oily throughout the day. I curl my eyelashes with Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler and apply either Josie Maran Argan Mascara or Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara which is just fantastic. It creates both length and volume but also separates lashes and the curl lasts all day, which is pretty amazing as my eyelashes are just straight as a board. The last but not least, is the only non-natural product that I can’t live without and it’s the Tom Ford Brow Sculptor in 02 Taupe. My eyebrows are very light and quite sparse and if I don’t fill them in I look dead. I love how I can fill them in on the go with no need to carry some bulky eyeshadow palettes and a brush.

This is it. I’m ready to go. Simple, quick, and easy.
